General Registration Information

·        All non-credit courses at Lourdes Adult Academy are open to adults, age 18 and older.

·         Students MUST pre-register for Mini-Courses at LAA in one of the five following ways set forth below.   A Registration Fee of $20 and a completed Registration form must be received at LAA one full week (i.e., five business days) prior to the first scheduled course meeting to secure your seat for the requested course.  Students seeking to register less than five business days prior to the first scheduled course meeting will be assessed a Late Registration Fee of $35 payable with full course tuition at or prior to the first scheduled course meeting. 

·         All Registration and Pre-Registration Fees are non-refundable.  Pre-Registration Fees shall be credited towards the course tuition.  All course tuition is due and payable in full prior to the first scheduled course meeting.

 Quick, Convenient Ways To Enroll In  Lourdes Adult Academy: 


1.  Register via FAX
Complete the registration form, and fax it to (973) 325-9105, 24 hours a day. Mail your completed form with the applicable Registration Fee of $20 or Late Registration Fee of $35 per course  and applicable tuition fee (made payable to “Lourdes Adult Academy”) to LAA, One Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ  07052, so that they are received within three (3) business days of your fax submission. 

2.  Register via WEBMAIL

Click on the "Register Now" tab on the menu to the left or forward an e-mail to info@lourdesadultacademy.org that contains your full name, address, phone number(s) and a request for enrollment in the course(s) desired.  Mail the appropriate fee ($20 Registration or $35 Late Registration and applicable Tuition), made payable to "Lourdes Adult Academy," to LAA, One Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ  07052, so that it is received within three (3) business days of your Web or e-mail submission.

3.  Register via U.S. MAIL
Complete the registration form and mail it to LAA, One Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ  07052, with your check or money order, made payable to “Lourdes Adult Academy,” for the proper fee amount. 

4.  VISIT LAA and Register
You may register in-person at Lourdes Adult Academy, One Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ, during the following hours:  Monday through Thursday, 9:30am-2:30pm 

Please pay the appropriate Registration or Late Registration Fee with tuition via check or money order.  No cash please. Registrations are completed only when full payment of course fees and tuition is made in good funds and a completed Registration Form is provided prior to the first scheduled course meeting.

5.  ATTEND FIRST SCHEDULED CLASS
Bring your completed registration form, the Late Registration Fee of $35, along with the full course tuition (via check or money order made payable to “Lourdes Adult Academy”) to the first scheduled course meeting at LAA.  Acceptance of registration in this manner at the first scheduled course meeting is subject to course enrollment limitations and is within the sole discretion of LAA.


Payment: Registrations are completed only when full payment of course fees and tuition is made in good funds and a completed Registration Form is provided prior to the first scheduled course meeting. Please pay by check or money order only.  We suggest that you use a separate check or money order for each course.  Checks returned for insufficient funds or non-payment for any reason will be assessed a $40 administrative fee and will preclude class attendance and further registration until paid in full.

Cancellation of a Class: Each LAA course requires a minimum enrollment of five (5) students and we may sometimes cancel a course because of insufficient enrollment.  We reserve the right to cancel any class for insufficient enrollment or for other good cause and will notify you by telephone, e-mail or regular mail if a course is canceled.  In such an event, we will give you the option of a refund or the opportunity to enroll in another course. Register early and avoid disappointment.

Withdrawal from Class and Refund Policy: If you wish to withdraw from a course, notify the Lourdes Adult Academy in writing immediately. In order to receive a refund of paid course tuition, we must receive your written request at least five business days before the first class session.
